Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Nashville Symphony!

During December, the orchestra presents so many things that we need to split up into several orchestras. One group is doing the Nutcracker, another is doing the Messiah and the Christmas Pied Piper, and various special concerts are played by the whole orchestra.

Thursday and Friday the legendary Tony Bennett performed with us, and posed for a picture afterwards –

On Saturday, we performed at the Symphony Ball with Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. The Nashville Symphony Musicians would like to thank Faith Hill and Tim McGraw for their generous support of the NSO. Here we are backstage before performing at the Symphony Ball.

Meanwhile, over at Andrew Jackson Hall at TPAC, the rest of us are performing the Nutcracker with the Nashville Ballet. This is our working space –
